"As May comes to a close, I've been reflecting on how much has changed for the better over the past year for the Edward P. Evans Foundation. I'm writing to thank you for the important role you played in those changes. Sale of three of the five parcels occurred over the next three years without a single legitimate offer on either of the large Spring Hill Farm (753 acres) or Longwood parcels (774 acres). The Foundation was losing significant money on the maintenance of the farm. In August of 2015, we elected to engage you and Hunt Country Sotheby's International Realty to help us achieve our goal of selling these challenging properties. Within half a year you were able achieve excellent results. You put together a marketing plan, created advertising materials, identified potential buyers, found an excellent local real estate attorney and helped us obtain a Purchase and Sale agreement in December of 2015. On April 6, 2016, we successfully closed. Your perseverance, creativity, and attention to detail helped us achieve an elusive sale that was essential for the Foundation to be able to fully focus on our philanthropic vision. I believe that the amount of effort you gave to identifying and doggedly pursuing potential buyers was your single most important contribution to this sale. Best of all, Mr. Evans' wishes for the property were honored- the purchasers intend to keep the properties in their existing rural state. I am grateful that we selected you and Hunt Country Sotheby's International Realty for this task, and I was extraordinarily pleased with the results."
